Glengarry Plant Farm grows approximately 100 species of native plants including trees, shrubs, grasses, lillies and ground covers. Some rare and threatened species are propagated including Dianella Amoena which is close to extinction. It is hoped these rare and threatened species will be available for sale to organisations and individuals interested in preserving these plants.
Seed for propagation is sourced from the local Gippsland area and 50mm forestry tubes in trays of 50 are used.
Glengarry Plant Farm markets strong, well hardened off plants ready for planting to boost survival rates. Roots are air pruned and plants are inspected prior to delivery.
